10 Ways to Raise Your Vibration
What does it mean to raise your vibration? It means, simply, to improve the way you feel. To shift from a negative state to something that feels more positive. To change your thoughts from weakening worry to empowering gratitude. To express love and kindness instead of anger or judgement. When we feel good, we radiate goodness. And right now we need a whole lotof goodness in this world!
Here are some suggestions. Find what works for you. Practice daily.
And remember, any time you feel even a little happier, better, lighter, or more peaceful, you are raising your vibration.
Smile. Smile in the mirror. Smile at people. Smile at animals. Smile at people in the store. Smile as you read something inspiring. Smile because you're you. Smile right now. Smiling tells your brain to release feel-good neurotransmitters such as serotonin and dopamine.
Journal. Journaling will help you release whatever is nagging at your mind. Release it and let it go. No need to re-read.
Commit Acts of Kindness. Practice kindness. Open doors for people. Let people go ahead of you in traffic. Do something nice for an elderly neighbor. Call or text a friend to tell them how much you appreciate them. Acts of kindness don't have to be enormous. When done spontaneously they bring joy to both you and to your recipient.
Clear and Cleanse. Use tools such as dry brushing, shower, salt bath, sauna, and sound bath to help you detoxify. By releasing toxic stagnancy, you will naturally raise your vibration.
Chant. Chanting a yogic, or Sanskrit mantra, repetitively, will help boost brain function, and reduce stress and anxiety. These mantras are designed tune your system to a higher vibration. Choose a mantra that appeals to you, and chant it for 108 times daily for maximum benefit.
Move. Movement moves stagnant energy. Exercise. Dance. Do yoga. Take a walk in Nature, where you'll get bonus points from all the high-vibe negative ions. Any time we release stagnant energy, we feel better. The better you feel, the higher your vibration.
Meditate. Meditation helps you tune into Divinity within you. It can also assist you in receiving guidance from invisible (or visible) sources. Meditation helps you tune into the higher vibrations of love, peace, and gratitude.
Use EFT Tapping. EFT Tapping will help release unwanted 'negative' emotions that pull down your vibration. Sometimes we're not even aware that we have underlying low feelings such as shame, anger, or self-doubt. EFT can help us pinpoint and release these feelings, so we can raise our vibration.
Practice the Heart Breath. The Heart Breath is a beautiful way to bring yourself into heart energy, the energy of unconditional love. Unconditional Love radiates at a very high vibration.
To practice this breath, close your eyes, breath slowly and deeply, and imagine you're breathing from your heart. Breath this way for 30 seconds or as long as you like.
Express Gratitude. Gratitude is a powerful way to help us shift from a place of lack and scarcity. By appreciating even the smallest things in our lives, we fill ourselves with sweet gratitude, and a feeling that all is well.
Best Wishes for Your Highest Vibes Ever! http://EzineArticles.com/10174243

7 Secrets to Improve Self-Esteem
Low self-esteem is not a problem only faced by teenagers and youngsters.
There are many adults today - even in their golden years - who don't have good self-esteem.
This is sad because low self-esteem can make our relationships suffer, we are constantly envying other people and make us feel... pretty much lousy about ourselves.
It's time to change that!
Good Self-Esteem Will Make You Feel Great About Yourself
I'm sure you know a person or 2 who are comfortable in their own skin.
They don't crumble when people criticise them unjustly. They are comfortable saying 'I'm sorry' when they are wrong. And they are confident of their own talents. They can laugh at themselves.
The wonderful thing about high self-esteem is that it gives us
more success at work
we seem more attractive to our partners
we don't need others' approval
life seems more bright and joyful and less gloomy
we feel great about ourselves
we seem more attractive to our partners
we don't need others' approval
life seems more bright and joyful and less gloomy
we feel great about ourselves
However, I don't think it's our fault entirely if we have low self-esteem.
That's because the way our parents brought us up, had a HUGE impact on our confidence levels.
Were you expected to be 'perfect' when you were young?
Were you harshly criticised if you had a big dream or wanted something badly?
Were you constantly compared to other kids?
Have you 'failed' at achieving something (eg: losing a game, scoring a D in an exam) and made to feel as though you were a complete failure as a person?
Were you harshly criticised if you had a big dream or wanted something badly?
Were you constantly compared to other kids?
Have you 'failed' at achieving something (eg: losing a game, scoring a D in an exam) and made to feel as though you were a complete failure as a person?
The above are some examples of how our parents might have unknowingly stumped our self-esteem.
7 Ways to Re-build Our Self-Esteem
01
Accomplish more
I'm not referring to accomplishing something as big as winning an award or getting a medal at some sports event.
I'm not referring to accomplishing something as big as winning an award or getting a medal at some sports event.
We can set small goals, pursue the small goals and achieve them. Once we've achieved our goals - be it small or big goals - we will have esteem-like feelings.
Make sure that the goals you set bring satisfaction to yourself. Don't set goals to please another person or to get praise!
Do you know what's interesting?
Bragging a little bit of our accomplishments on Facebook or Instagram can also boost our self-esteem. Just don't overdo it or we will be a tad annoying ð
02
Be Aware of Your Talents
This might seem obvious to some of us.
This might seem obvious to some of us.
But low self-esteem people are not aware or choose to ignore their strengths.
If you put pen to paper and list your strengths and talents, you might be surprised that your list is longer than you thought.
Or, you can get a trusted person to list your strengths. You will get insight into your talents you were not aware of!
03
Treat yourself like a worthwhile person
This is where self-care comes in.
This is where self-care comes in.
Pamper yourself with a massage, a warm bath, diffuse some essential oils (geranium essential oil evokes feelings of self-love if you are into the metaphysical), play with a pet or child, journal, exercise, dine at your favourite place... basically do activities which make you feel awesome.
These feel-good activities will send signals to your mind that you are a valuable person worthy of nice things in life.
04
Fake it till you make it
Is there a celebrity whom you admire because she is so confident of herself during interviews?
Is there a celebrity whom you admire because she is so confident of herself during interviews?
Or someone you know personally?
We can model their body language. Confident people tend to shake hands firmly, make eye contact, speak clearly and stand tall. When we adopt their body language, people will treat us with respect which in turn, makes us feel confident.
I personally admire Queen Rania of Jordan. She gently draws boundaries when meeting people in public places whilst maintaining a smile on her face and very polite body language even when unknown women rush to smother her with hugs at events.
Jennifer Lopez is another celebrity who is a master in people skills. She can answer awkward interview questions with jokes, she laughs at herself and effortlessly makes herself seem humble and approachable. It's a well-honed skill.
05
Talk & spend time with high self-esteem people
I adore spending time with people who are positive.
I adore spending time with people who are positive.
They help me to reframe any problem I have as something that will pass.
High self-esteem people will make us feel energised and recharged after spending time with them.
They are open to admit any mistakes or 'failures' they've had and they will still be supportive of us when we make mistakes ourselves.
In short, they accept you for who you are, flaws and all.
Value these people tightly.
06
Be Kind to Yourself
I like a quote I came across recently: "You can't get life wrong because there's no such thing as getting life right."
I like a quote I came across recently: "You can't get life wrong because there's no such thing as getting life right."
Everybody makes mistakes. Successful people make even more mistakes than the average person.
When we 'fail' at something, focus on tweaking our strategies. 'Failures' are feedback that our strategies need tweaking.
'Failures' have nothing to do with us as a person. So don't beat ourselves up when we falter.
07
Tame the inner critic
All of us have inner critics. These pesky little things will negate our capabilities.
All of us have inner critics. These pesky little things will negate our capabilities.
Inner critic example: "My superior praised my work today. I think he was just being polite. Or maybe he is in a good mood. I'm sure my work wasn't that fantastic."
We can reframe it with: "I feel good that my superior praised my work today. It may not be perfect, but I did the best I could. I feel proud for pushing myself."
I've heard of a successful businessman who has an unorthodox approach to this. He visualises his inner critic as an iguana (of all things!). He said that all of us have these 'iguanas' living in our minds.
When negative self-talk starts in his mind, he will shrug it off as the 'iguana' blabbering (yet again).
This is one creative way we can separate our destructive self-talk from ourselves.
Please remember that changes in habit or mindset takes time. ð
We will not be a confident superstar immediately after applying all the 7 tips above. If we've been having low self-esteem for years, we can't just switch to being a confident person in 1 day.
Be kind to yourself and give yourself time to change. http://EzineArticles.com/9964235

Embrace Your Future Today
Waking to a lazy day is not a problem; the problem begins when do nothing about it. Although the day will come and go one needs to remember that there is still a future ahead of them.
When we start a day we need to set objectives for the day and strive to meet every goal. By the time we lay our head down to sleep our checklist should confirm that everything has been achieved. Failure to do so is the best recipe for disaster in the future; near or distant.
Each day needs to be lived at its maximum like it is one's deadline. When working towards a deadline, we all strive to perfect everything in order to end up with an interesting outcome.
One wise saying goes like, "Work like a slave today to live like a king tomorrow." In simple words, every future is prepared in the present moment. No matter what you have or don't have, your effort is what counts towards your brighter future. Hence we need to embrace our future today to enrich it with the best of possibilities.
Self realization is the master key to embracing your future. You cannot determine who you want to be in the future when you do not know who you are. Life is a curve and every instantaneous point is important to complete the graph, especially the beginning. If the beginning is messed up the rest will be difficult to accurately trace. However, if one starts off at the right place and time (which is the present) the rest will be a walk in the park.
After knowing yourself one can be rest assured of being able to choose either path to follow in life. As much as life is a freewill, we still need self-control to choose the right path. Self-control is a feeling that will tell you this is in line with who you are or not. It will lead you to make reasonable decisions rather than grabbing anything that life throws in your face. It doesn't work that way, we need to determine our future through our actions.
But how will one embrace the future before living it? This is a possible question in the mind of man. Embracing might refer to present things but for the future it is still applicable. If we cannot embrace it today, tomorrow we will see it pass before and not be able to contain it. It will come with hardships that we cannot contain even a fraction of it.
Therefore, everyone needs to work in the present for the best of the future. Procrastination is the killer of time, as it is well-known. The moment we delay our efforts today, we will be preparing for a possible failed future. http://EzineArticles.com/9716106

Do You Sabotage Yourself With Worry?
Worry is one of the biggest obstacles to creating what people want in their lives. Most of us grew up with the idea that if you weren't worrying you just didn't care about the outcome. I've heard parents say, "It's my job to worry about my children." Worry comes up because you fear you won't get what you want or that something bad will happen. Or, you might think that worry will cause you to be prepared in the event that things don't work out.
Worry is a lack of trust in the Universe/The-All-That-Is/Source/God. It's a lack of trust in ourselves as creator beings. The truth is that we aren't meant to struggle. We're meant to thrive. Life is supposed to be fun and easy. When you are in alignment with what you want, you embrace a feeling of lightness, joy, appreciation and trust. Worry actually keeps what you want away from you. If you are sending out a vibration of worry, then you simply attract more worry.
There is a gap between feeling your desire and manifesting it. The problem arises during that gap. All sorts of doubts can creep in and you start to worry about whether or not what you want will manifest. This is especially true if it feels very important that you have it. And then the thing you want never happens and you begin to doubt the whole process of manifesting.
I've been there!
Something that made a huge difference for me, is a practice called "It is done." I'd been able to manifest some great things into my life, sometimes pretty easily, but it was inconsistent. Certain things just didn't seem to be showing up. I'd been using the words, "so be it and so it is" and "it is done" after stating intentions, but only just saying the words. Then the worries would start to creep in. I tried to re-focus my thoughts and feelings, did a lot of processes and work on clearing limiting beliefs. All good things to do. But for some things I deemed big and important, I just couldn't release the knot in my stomach.
It is done.
A book was recommended to me called, "It Is Done: The Final Step to Instant Manifestation" by Richard Dotts. I decided to give it a try. Richard described the feeling of goose bumps that came over him as he realized that "Amen" at the end of prayer had originally been more than just an ending. It was a statement of faith and trust that the thing being asked for was, in fact, already done. As soon as we birth a desire and intend to create it, it is done. As Abraham-Hicks puts it, everything is already there, waiting in our vortex of creation. You simply have to align with it. You are the last creative component to receiving what you want.
The process is very simple, yet powerful. After using whatever method of setting your intention you prefer (visualization, journaling, affirmations, etc.) take a moment to say and most importantly to FEEL that it is done. How would you feel knowing that the thing you want is already accomplished? There is nothing more for you to do to make it happen. Done. Really feel it is as if you have it. Tap into the feelings you've had when you've accomplished things in your life in the past. Then take 15 to 30 seconds to "be" in that feeling. You know you are in the feeling because you will get some sort of sign, release, or "click." For me, it is a relaxing of the knot in my stomach and a feeling of energy going through the top of my head and down through the center of my body. Richard describes goose bumps and his scalp tingling.
At any time during the gap between expressing your desire and manifesting it you feel doubts creep up, simply do the "It is done" process right in that moment. Don't put it off for later, deal with it right away. There is no need to visualize what you want at that point, simply work with the FEELING, shifting from worry to "it is done." The first signs you have of this working is that you feel better. It has certainly caused more joy in my life!
We came here for the joy of bringing ideas and desires into manifestation in this physical environment. "It is done" will help you enjoy the process! https://EzineArticles.com/expert/Estra_Roell/366734

4 Reasons Why You Need Health Goals
Many people will tell you that you need to have Goals in each of a set of defined categories. I'm less strict about that, but I definitely think you should have Goals for your Health. How do you have health Goals you may ask?
First you need to take stock of where you are right now. Go to your doctor and have a full physical done, including blood work. Most insurance will cover this as part of your preventative care, except for the blood work. Get your weight, your cholesterol and everything else you should track noted.
Then you need to determine what the ideal is for all of these. Ideal weight. Ideal cholesterol. Ideal glucose level and so on. Wherever you're not in that ideal range, you need to create a plan to get there. Your doctor will give you ideas. They LOVE doing that.
Now WHY do you need Health Goals?
Without good Health, nothing else can get done.
I speak from experience here. The last month or so I have been trying to get over a bout of bronchitis. It knocked me down for a couple of days early on, and it just keeps hanging on. It's draining my energy and creativity, and it's really knocked me off track on pursuing my Goals this month. It's essential to be physically and mentally able to actually DO the work to achieve your Goals.
Without good Health, what you do isn't as productive.
When we're sick, our bodies are busy fighting whatever bacteria or virus has attacked us. Or our bodies are busy healing from whatever pain or injury we're suffering from. When you can work at all, you simply aren't going to have the energy to get as much done. It affects your thinking and your ability to make things happen. It can affect your judgement too and cause you to make costly errors.
Without good Health, we aren't as motivated to get things done.
Let's look at weight here. When we're overweight, it's more difficult to get excited about certain things. We can be self-conscious about how we look compared to those we see as Successful. Sometimes it's not our imagination either. Certainly Hollywood makes us think you have to be thin and beautiful to be a Success. Look at leaders in places you've worked or know. Does upper management tend to be fat and ugly or thin and good looking? In my experience, thin and good looking gets you farther.
Without good Health, we are more stressed than ever.
When we're not at our optimum health, it's stressful. When we're sick, we naturally want and need to rest. Yet we know there are so many things that aren't getting done. We NEED to get up and do something, but when we do, we can't do it for long or we make a mess of it. Poor Health itself is stressful. It creates extra demands on the body to carry extra weight, process more sugar, salt, fat and chemicals than it should or to pump blood through clogged arteries. Not to mention the physical stress to joints and muscles.
Our Health is the one thing we cannot ignore when we set our Goals. It's too important. Our Health is what enables us to think and do the work well and quickly to achieve our Goals, but it's not just a tool to do that.
Our Health has to be good to excellent if we're going to be the best that we can be. https://EzineArticles.com/expert/W_Timothy_Johnson/1572563

Step Out, On,Toward
Life is filled with disappointments. It throws you curve balls and unexpected mayhem. But even in all those mishaps, life can be good. You hold the key to how good your life can be. I know you have heard this before but let me give you a new perspective. First "Step Out". Step out from what... the crowd.
The crowd is not always going where you want to go. It does take courage to step away from what you know you don't want in order to move into the unknown path that will take you to where your heart desires to go. Imagine your life in that new place. This will give you the courage to step away from the crowd. Remember, the crowd can not get you to your destiny, but you can get there once you are on the right path.
Next, "Step On". Step on to what... new territory. It can be fun and exciting to walk on to new territory. New adventures await. Life does not have to be dull and unadventuresome. You can use your voice to pray for guidance and direction and then move in that path. You will be amazed at the new discoveries that will propel you on to making a good day, an even better day.
Last, but certainly not the least, "Step Toward". Step toward what... a brighter future that contains your heart's desire. Your heart's desire was put there by our Creator. You can achieve it. It takes work and it takes believing in the dream and in yourself. Look around you. Who shares your passion. Who wants to move toward a brighter tomorrow. You don't have to go alone, once you step out, then on, and now toward the destination. You will meet others along the way that will make this journey a great one. But you must take the first step.
No one can take this step for you. So you must ask yourself, how important is it to me to obtain this awesome dream that lies in my heart? If you want it badly enough, you will make the decision to go after it. If you do not, you will remain stagnant. Let me suggest to you that remaining stagnant should never be an option, not when so much good is waiting for you. There is so much more to life than just a mundane existence.
You owe it to yourself. Make this a great day, step toward your awesome tomorrow! And for each day you live to see, keep on stepping. Enjoy the journey! http://EzineArticlescom/10066676

10 Ways to Live More Fully
Stop trying to be perfect: You already are. Yes, each one of us is a work in progress, but that work is perfect in its state of evolution. When you are driven by perfection, you are unable to appreciate who you already are. Try instead to look at what is right about you.
Stop Trying to Impress Others: The people who want to be impressed (in the way I am talking about here) are not worth your time. The people who will judge you without knowing you or based on some criteria that are not even important to you are just not your people. The people who matter will think you are amazing. Pay more attention to them.
Stop Trying to Be Someone Else: If you are comparing yourself to someone who has different talents than you do or if you think that you should be doing things a different way than is natural for you, instead start to appreciate how you do things and what your talents are.
Find What You Love: When you let yourself be yourself, you will naturally be drawn to what you love. But, what you love also shows you something about who you are. If you don't know what you love, experiment. If you like it, try doing it again and see if it grows into something.
Give Yourself Permission to Do What You Love: Once you find the things you love, do them a lot. The more that you do what you love, the happier and the more satisfied you will be with your life. If you know what you love but you are not doing it, get the support you need to give yourself permission to be happy.
Don't Waste Time Doing Other Things: Why bother doing things that you do not enjoy? Yes, I understand life has some practicalities that need to be addressed, but once they have been attended to-are you still wasting time not doing what you love? If so, start a plan to cut out the things that are not in line with who you want to be or what you love, and then take action.
Slow Down: We can all get a bit ahead of ourselves. It is not about doing more or doing it faster, it is about really enjoying our life. We can't do that if we are moving so fast that we don't even know what is happening. Start by building some real breaks into your schedule.
Pay Attention to What Is Working (Most of the Time): Most of us would benefit from being a bit more positive. There is a place for looking at what is not working, but when we pay attention to what works, we often learn more about it and therefore can have more of it. We also feel better about what we are experiencing. If you see yourself getting negative, find one thing that is working.
Express Gratitude: Being grateful is one of the most effective ways to be happier. When in doubt, find something to appreciate. And don't forget to apply it to yourself!
Learn to Fully Receive: The emphasis on doing that most of us have been enculturated into leaves us less skilled when it comes to receiving. But how can we have a full and rich life if we can't receive it? The next time someone compliments you, take it in. The Law Of Attraction - Is This The Whole Story?
You may well have heard of the Law of Attraction, a concept that infers that like attracts like. But what does this mean? For me, it means that if you wholeheartedly want something (and you do something about manifesting it) chances are that you'll get it.
But does the concept really work?
As a Life Coach I am hot on forward thinking and working towards what I call 'ideals'. An ideal is simply something positive that you want to see happen - it's a vision, a mission, a purpose, a goal.
A number of years ago I compiled one sheet of paper that contained my overall life purpose, my vision, my goals and a list of projects stemming from those goals. Everything I wrote down came from deep within me, and had been an integral part of me for years.
I have been looking at that sheet of paper almost daily since compiling it without thinking too much about how the things on the sheet were going to manifest.
The reason why I refer to the sheet so often is simply because it makes me feel good. It directs me and stirs me in a positive way. In short, it represents everything I want to manifest in my life.
More recently I attended a meeting with some colleagues and we talked about developing an enterprise. As the discussions went on I realized that much of what we were talking about resembled what was on my sheet.
On returning home I looked at the sheet and laughed. Practically everything I'd written down was covered in the meeting. This happened not because I was pushing my own agenda. It happened naturally because we were all of the same mindset with similar aspirations and wanting to achieve similar life and business goals... like attracting like.
I've now realized that everything I've aspired to may come to fruition by default if our enterprise is successful.
So does this concept of attraction really work? Yes I think so!
Now you could say that nothing I've put out there has yet come to fruition. This is true. However, the meeting showed me that things are already beginning to shift.
If I hadn't produced this sheet I doubt whether the conversation in that meeting would have gone the same way. I may well have been more easily led by the others around the table, because I would have had no real perspective of my own.
By clearly articulating my purpose, vision, goals and projects, and referring to them on a daily basis, my subconscious mind is already recognizing opportunities that will help to make these a reality. That meeting (and the subsequent enterprise idea) is one of those opportunities.
I do believe, however, that there are certain caveats to the concept:
Windows of Opportunity
Once you've clearly and specifically established where you want to go, windows of opportunity begin to open for you. It is for you to grab those opportunities and immediately take the action necessary to achieve your goals. Otherwise, those windows eventually close and the opportunity is lost.
Letting Go
I also believe an important element is that you let go of the outcome. Be OK with achieving your goals and aspirations, and with not achieving them. This is because, in my view, becoming desperate about your achievements pushes them away. Becoming more relaxed about them increases the chances of you achieving them. For me it's also about recognizing that your aspirations may not always manifest in the way you envision them - and being OK with this.
Giving It Time
I also think it's important to give yourself the time you need to manifest your ideal. Specific timeframes focus and galvanise you into action. However if those timeframes are unrealistic they could have the opposite effect. You may feel that if you've not reached your goal within the timeframe you've set yourself that you've somehow failed.
Allowing yourself the time to mature with your vision and grow to become the kind of person who can make it happen may well increase the chances of you succeeding.
So yes I believe the law of attraction works if:
· You're clear and specific about precisely what you want
· You focus daily on what you want
· You take full advantage of the opportunities that show up and do the work that's necessary
· You let go of the desperation and...
· You give it time http://EzineArticles.com/9445188

How To Be Determined and Accomplish Anything
Inspiring people is a great quality to possess that has made me want more out of life.
Along with inspiration came along competition and striving to be the best.
This has made me also adapt the "be hard and disciplined on yourself," philosophy.
Being competitive and number one has it's perks. So, I challenge you to be number one. And if you're not competitive it's okay. It's about being better.
Could you do this for yourself?
To succeed I learned to nourish my mind, spirit and soul. These things are the precious assets I possess. Invest in them. They are the ones that will get you closer to your dream.
I believe you must immerse yourself in your dream. This is the only way you'll stay inspired and overcome obstacles.
My dream is to become an inspirational blog writer. It's an impossibility to some, but a possibility for me. I do not understand why they can't see that.
But it's my stubbornness that also helps me keep going.
And when negativity has enter my heart. I have not let it destroy my dreams. Even when things are discouraging.
You have to keep going everyday. Push yourself to win by seeking new higher levels even if you're scared. You don't know how scared I am to fail. But I am here aren't I?
It's your responsibility to accomplish your goal. Then reap the big rewards that come with your hard earn sweat.
Just do it even if you don't know where to start by grinding everyday.
I haven't reached the height of my success yet and I work on this every day. Work has allowed me to stop thinking about quitting.
Part of life is overcoming the road blocks standing in your way by making a difference in a person's life.
And how exciting would it be if you start with yours?
So, do not give up on yourself. I imagine the difference achieving my goal will make in my life.
And I will not stop until I have let out my last dying breath when I am old and wrinkly.
But before then, I will rise above all adversities by getting better daily. Finding ways to inspire and make a difference in myself first.
The idea of being an inspirational writer, keeps me alive. I truly see a book published having my name. This is something I want to prove to myself.
The art of inspiring is a craft I haven't yet mastered and I am learning everyday. I find space to learn it.
Brendon Burchar once said something similar, "It's your responsibility to achieve your goal when people disagree with you." So, it's best I hold on tight to my dreams and goals.
I am.
Because mastering the art of inspiration will allow me to spend more time with the things I love most like: family and inspirational writing.
I want to use this gift and share it with the world because it has done wonders in me. I have achieved a lot in life by feeling inspired.
What better way to enjoy life doing the things I love most. You get the point? Just get inspired.
Start by being hard on yourself by setting goals.
To make a difference in your own life you must master your fears. They matter in achieving goals.
To make a difference in your own life you must master your fears. They matter in achieving goals.
Adopt a healthy self-improvement journey in your life. Be competitive with your own self. It will take you places never before imagined.
Start by defining a goal and knowing where it will take you. It loses direction if you don't tell it. Your goal should have direction.
Choose a direction filled with happiness and joy. If possible choose a route with mental and spiritual awakening. I have.
You'll eventually achieve your goal along the way. Just remember that it's the small differences in life that will help you keep going.
Also do everything possible to achieve it.
I am doing everything I can. My ultimate goal is to publish an inspiring book that will encourage people to achieve theirs. I am not giving up on that.
I have come this far by setting goals and believing something special out there is for me.
Believe there's something special waiting for you too.
The only thing waiting for me is inspiring people. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with the rest. I do it by pushing myself to grow each day.
It's a great feeling doing what I love doing best in this world. And I want to do that again. So, I took up the challenge to learn how to inspire by setting up a blog and sharing it.
Last week I inspired one person, and it's those little differences that help me keep going.
The more I inspire the further my confidence grew. I know I can do this.
Just work intelligently, persistently and you'll prevail. The more you invest in yourself the more you'll succeed.
Opportunities will open up to you the more you work on yourself. Allow yourself to be open.
I take every opportunity that will help me improve.
I am always on alert implementing new ideas to get better.
"Wow this is a good idea,"
I write it down to and share it.
Despite writing for years I know writing it will replace my day job. As I constantly work on getting better. I feel it getting closer.
I believe words change people. That is why it has caught my attention, how they heal, mold and transform people. As an aspiring writer it's my dream to have my work shared and
make a change in the world positively.
make a change in the world positively.
That is why I started a blog.
Nothing in this world is easy. Life is one long struggle and nothing is certain. I am not satisfied. So, I keep writing to change that dissatisfaction.
I wish I can work on your dream, but it would be emotionally draining. It's your responsibility to work on yours.
Even when your family and friends are doubting you. Do not be surprised. You'll come across that a lot. Do not take it personal.
Just keep improving yourself as you share your dreams to disapprovingly faces.
Perhaps they are right, but do not believe them. I don't.
Lastly, don't rush things too; slowly you'll get further. I learned this lesson the hard way. https://EzineArticles.com/expert/Ricardo_Ortiz/2107490

What Is A Worthy Goal, Anyway?
"Change is inevitable, but personal growth is a choice."
You have a tremendous amount of creative potential - and the truth is, there is no-one alive who can even guess at what you, as an individual, are capable of achieving.
So, if this is the case, why do so few people actually achieve anything of any significance in life?
Why is it that only 2-4% of all the people who go through our educational system become successful in their chosen field?
Well, there are many reasons, but one of the most significant reasons is that the vast majority of people never even aim for success,
because we have become so conditioned, by our upbringing and our surroundings, into believing we have to know HOW to achieve something before we even seriously consider it. So most people never even get as far as making it their goal to be successful. The Wright brothers didn't know how they were going to make a plane fly when they first made it their goal in life. Edison tried over 10,000 times to invent a working lightbulb - he had no idea how he was going to do it until he made it his goal and started working towards it. And yet, for most people, their dreams never even become a serious consideration because they don't know how they'd do it. Instead, they settle for mediocre goals - goals they think they can probably achieve rather than the things they really, desperately want to be, do or have in life, often because of fear of disappointment.
A true goal - a WORTHY goal must come from within. A true goal's purpose is to cause you to grow - it causes you to draw from a part of you you didn't even know existed. Do you have a C-Type Goal? In Thinking Into Results, we focus on 3 types of goal: A-, B- and C-Type goals. An A-Type goal is something you already know how to achieve. Maybe you ran the London Marathon last year and you've decided to make it your goal again for this year.
That's not a worthy goal because it's something you've already done once - you know you can do it and you know how. There is no personal growth needed to achieve an A-Type goal. A B-Type goal is what most people progress to after an A-Type goal. A B-Type goal is something you think you can probably achieve if a number of factors you're expecting fall into place. Businesses set these kinds of goals all the time - a 10% increase in sales, a 5% increase in net profits... They create a detailed, meticulous plan for how it will happen and call this their goal. But the truth is there is no motivation - no inspiration - in A or B-Type goals. There's no skin in the game. It's a safe bet.
What's the worst that will happen if these goals aren't achieved? Usually nothing - 'we'll just try again next year'. What do you really, really want? But a C-Type goal is your 'wants'. This is the thing or things you really, really want in life. If you could be, do or have absolutely anything, without restriction, what would that be? And yes, it starts of as a fantasy. Every achievement of any note has started life as a fantasy and you won't know how you're going to do it when you first start out - that's the point. Because it's the personal growth that takes place within you while you're finding out how to achieve it that makes this a true goal.
It's what makes this a goal worthy of you trading your time, energy and money for - trading your life for. If you're going to spend your days working towards something, make that 'thing' worthy of you. Imagine what your life would look like, what each day would look like, in a life you'd designed. What's Much, Much Better Than Motivational Quotes?
I know people who peddle in motivational quotes. They hunt them down, share them on Facebook and move onto the next one. Heck, I used to be like that with an old Twitter account. So I get the appeal of them, I really do.
But there's a big ol' problem with quote farming:
It has a way of becoming hollow and pointless.
You read a quote and something about it resonates with you. Maybe it's clever and insightful. Maybe you've heard it before but now, in one moment where you stare at your screen, you truly get it.
So, being the generous person you are, you share it with everyone you know.
You look for another inspirational quote. Most are rather trite, so you keep digging. But you find a good one. Then another. You share these too.
The more you look, the emptier these quotes sound. And you start seeing the same quotes popping up again and again. Don't those hacks know we've heard that one a thousand times before?
If you keep looking, you find a sea of decent motivational quotes amid a bigger sea of garbage.
(It's so bad that you can't even think of good metaphors for it.)
The harder you look, the harder it is to find an inspirational quote that's... well, inspiring.
And let me tell you why that is.
A good motivational quote might have a gram of wisdom in it. It might have just the right piece that you were looking for. You consider what it means and it completes something inside.
That's the exception, though. It certainly isn't the rule.
And if you think back on those great moments in your life where you felt inspired, you were probably doing one of two things.
You were either out there, living your life and working through challenges.
Or...
You were talking with someone. Having a conversation. A dialogue.
An inspirational quote is a tiny monologue. It takes human interaction truly improve. An exchange of ideas or perspectives is the best way to find a snippet of wisdom that inspires you.
So by all means, find a quote that floats your boat.
Tape it to your ceiling, computer monitor or bathroom mirror.
But then do this:
Live the quote.
Explore its meaning.
Fulfil its example.
Don't just use it as a slogan - use it as a philosophy. Every day, find a new way to align something in your life to the quote.
It resonated with you for a reason.
So chase that reason with both hands outstretched.
You can begin that simple self-improvement technique now.
And enjoy its benefits for the rest of your life.https://ezinearticles.com/?Whats-Much,-Much-Better-Than-Motivational-Quotes?&id=10166305

What Does Buddha Mean by "Not-Self"?
It is Buddha's teaching that the 5 aggregates of "bodily form, perception, feeling, mental formation and consciousness" which exhaustively make up all that there is about a person. This is convincing enough, as there seems no 6th aggregate mutually exclusive with any of the 5 aggregates which is readily conceivable. Even "sub-consciousness and dream", though seemingly contributing to another category, could be logically grouped somewhere within the area of mental formation.
More importantly, the qualifications of "control" and "permanence" are alluded to as the essential conditions of being a self.
As none of the 5 aggregates exerts total control over a person's behaviour - including his biological transformation, growth and decline - and each element of the aggregates changes over time, indeed all the time, the existence of a self is in question. But this begs another immediate question: Why can't a self be non-controlling and impermanent? As a butterfly transforms through its 4-stage life cycle - egg, caterpillar larva, pupa and imago - at no point does it do so voluntarily (does it really not?); and it usually lives no more than a year.
Yet, it is identifiably the same insect since birth. Is it fair to deny the butterfly of its self because of its lack of voluntary control over its bodily transformation and the impermanence of its life? Besides, it is hard to reconcile Buddha's discourse on the not-self with 2 other of his propositions elsewhere in his teachings. Firstly, in the discourse on the not-self, Buddha advises his disciples to regard each of the 5 aggregates with proper wisdom, according to reality, thus:
"This is not mine, this I am not, this is not my self." This is implying that the self lies elsewhere, which, however, is immediately contradictory to the idea that the 5 aggregates exhaustively make up all that there is about a person. While it is comprehensible to interpret his advice as simply not to claim ownership of any state or output of the 5 aggregates, it is difficult to conjecture where else can the self be. Secondly, the idea of the not-self is also contradictory to the fundamental principle of cause and effect, which is apparently inherent in the concept of karma in Buddhism.
If karma refers to actions driven by intention, deeds done deliberately through body, speech and mind, which leads to further consequences, is it not in Buddha's teaching that a person is entirely responsible for his own karma? But how can he be responsible if there is no self in the person? The concept of the not-self is indeed very difficult to fathom. Perhaps the true proposition is about "the insignificance of self" instead of the "not-self", particularly in the bigger scheme of the timeless universe.
Given the impermanence and fickleness of life, and the fact that there are many circumstantial factors other than a person's own deeds which determine the consequences, there is indeed no lasting reason to be too passionate about any form, feeling, perception, mental formation or any state of consciousness about anything - as being elusively owned by the self. What's the relevance of Buddha's teaching to our occupation, business or even life in general?
